Job Description:
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), under the clinical direction of a registered nurse or physician, provides a basic level of general nursing care to inmates incarcerated in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through medication management, emergency response, patient education and treatments. Performs Health Care related duties consistent with the LVN Scope of Practice. A detailed duty statement is available upon request.
This Recruitment is for Limited Intermittent Employee (L.I.E.) Licensed Vocational Nurse. This position will be limited to 1500 hours per calendar year and will be used on an on-call as needed basis with no guarantee of hours or a certain shift.

Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):
Possession of a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse is required.
