The Hispanic Scholarship Fund was formed in 1975 with the sole intention of extending a helping hand to Latino students.
The help in this context comes in the form of scholarship and support services. The aim of the foundation is to provide students with the wide range of materials they require to enter college, excel in their studies and perform at their best once they set feet in the career world. The long-term focus is to have these individuals flourish in the career world, after which they will take a role in helping others in the years to come.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund Continues To Grow
Currently, HSF is the biggest non-profit organization assisting Hispanic students in the country. Over the years, the foundation has provided scholarships worth over $470 million to students across the country. In addition to that, it provides support services to scholars, candidates and the families involved. Despite the targets met so far, HSF wishes to keep pushing for the education of the Latino student by offering its financial resources and mobilizing the community towards a common goal, which is education for every child in every Latino family countrywide.
