The purpose and goal of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program at Vena Health Education Institute remains focused on teaching students how to assist with the needs that the patients and clients have the most.
The CNA’s job is almost completely hands-on, which means lots of direct patient care! For many people, the CNA position is the career they’re looking for; for others, the CNA certification is the start of working towards advanced healthcare training. As the Kern County population continues to age and grow, CNA jobs will become even more in-demand than they are now. One of the benefits of programs like Vena Health’s CNA program is how closely you’ll be able to work with patients during clinical hours. You have the opportunity to see how treating your patients with dignity will show you how important these healthcare positions are.
How long is The Vena Health CNA Program?
The Department of Public Health, California’s CNA Governing Body, requires that each prospective CNA completes:
- 100 Hours Clinical
- 60 Hours Theory
Vena Health Education Institute’s California Department of Public Health CNA Program Verification
